Here at Furness Tree Care we have access to tracked and pedestrian stump grinders.

We like to use both as they both have there places, one is a bigger and more powerful machine controlled by remote and the pedestrian one is smaller and less powerful but manually controlled .

However the tracked machine does shrink down to 28 inches but it doesn't always let you get into some of the narrower side entrances that's why we think its best to use both!

​

The reasons to remove stumps would be;

• it looks more appealing with it gone

• if your relandscaping or building a outbuilding or an structure  

• can be a trip hazard ​​
